THE GALLERY AT GRANDE PROVENCE SHOWCASES 'WHERE?'

‘The Gallery’ at the 5-star Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek continues its trilogy of exhibitions with the ‘WHERE?’ exhibition opening with Ingrid Wolfaardt on Sunday 1, August at 11h00 and is scheduled to run until Thursday 2, September. A special preview is available on Saturday 31, July.
The exhibition “WHERE?” will be the second of this trilogy of exhibitions entitled “WHO?”, “WHERE?” and WHATnow?”. The exhibition will showcase contemporary ‘scapes’ where the landscape is taken out of its ‘classical context’ or ‘time’. Participating artists include - Beezy Bailey, Wayne Barker, Ben Botma, Paul Boulitreau, Keith Dietrich, Nel Erasmus, Pauline Gutter, Lara Kruger, MJ Lourens, Nicolaas Maritz, Luan Nel, Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi, Sarel Petrus, Annette Pretorius, Jeannette Unite, Louis van Heerden, Gina Waldman, and Emma Willemse, with Anton Uys as the special guest.
Part 2 of a selection of miniature chairs from the Vitra Design Museum Collection, which will be presented at The Shop (supplied by TWIICE International).
Lise Hanssen’s “The Baiting Tree” – a photographic installation can also be seen in The Project Room, which is a new extension to The Gallery.
